Tainted Soil
The ground was now tainted with blood,
and the man hit the ground with a thud.
When he fell in the dirt
Even boulders felt hurt,
And his blood turned the dirt into mud.

I really like your poems. I would love to use them in my classroom. We are doing a unit on poetry and it would be nice.
